at about 5 years old i would go with my dad to lodges where he had a presentation on growing up at the masonic home and school. he recently got asked to give it at the Planters lodge and the brazos valley shrine club where he did an outstanding job. very proud of my dad!

my opinion on lodges and membership here in the big city is that 50 years ago our lodges were in vibrant growing communities. today many lodges are in what i would deem the ghetto. my lodge is in what has become a commercial area. no new families or young men. we have done better than most...

the study was on the particpation before and after the one day conferal. basicly what they said was that they had greater particpation after the conferal than before and that their esotoric proficiency had gotten better from the guys learning their work...

ohio(i think) did the one day conferal and then had a study that followed it. the information they gave was suprising.
the wood box i had laying around the house and had a brother from my lodge who is th ag teacher at the school i work at do for me. the other is a piece of wood i had done for my pard after he joind th shrine the other night. i hope they enjoy.
brothers i work with young men every day and I can tell you that this can help save some of these kids lives. what a great program these brothers are doing.
