Paul Revere is also recorded as one the first 3 Masons to receive the Knights Templar degree. Him along with William Davis and Joseph Warren received the four steps - That of Excellent, Super Excellent, Royal Arch, and Knight Templar.

I'm against this style of micro-management and as some have put it "cookie cut" design of Lodges. If a Lodge chooses to have a site then awesome, if not then that is just as good. I know a Lodge who is highly active, small, but efficient and I bet that maybe only a few have regular access...
