Why is it so hard to get Masons to join the Commandery?

That's not a bad idea. My Commandery supplies as much as they can as we do have some chapeaus, some jackets, and plenty of swords, but that's not a bad idea to change to the cap and mantle. This is from the Grand Encampment Constitution: I couldn't find an online copy of the Texas Grand...

Why is it so hard to get Masons to join the Commandery?

I'm not sure why it is so hard to get people to join. I truly believe that the Commandery is the prestigious order in Masonry and that all Christian Masons should join the Templars. I think that the Sir Knights need to be more public and invite more to the open functions such as...

Is the Commandery too difficult for most Masons?

At least in my State, a lot of Sir Knights like that the York Rite meetings are not like the Blue Lodge. I personally love the Commandery for its D&C and its ritual.

    York Rite Symbolism

The forum, The Sanctum Sanctorum, has some sub-forums that discuss the symbolism of the York Rite. They also discuss some books on the symbolism. The Grand Lodge of New York has a reading course for the York Rite and this is what they have:
