    Views on appendant bodies

    Jesters is an invitational group within the Shrine. I'm personally no fan of the Jesters although I know many good men who are Jesters. Yeah, it is quite the scandal and many anti-Masons like to rub in our face as a kind of "AH HA! GOTCHA!"

    I have a favorable opinion of appendant bodies being a member of the York Rite, Scottish Rite, and Eastern Star. Although I belong to several groups I am still very active in the Blue Lodge.

    What was your favorite Blue Lodge Degree?

    I personally enjoy the 1st Degree as it is the first step in our journey as Masons and a good foundation is needed for any structure (symbol or physical).

    Visiting Internationally

    I visited the Grand Orient of Italy, but I actually went through the Grand Commandery of Italy to visit and then went with one of the Sir Knights to Lodge on another day.

    I've been to a few. One memorable one was in Arizona where we laid the cornerstone for an outdoor garden for outdoor degrees in Rio Rico.
