I wonder how an open house might effect your (and other) lodges. I have thought about this quite a bit lately. Maybe if our GL would schedule a day and announce the date across the state, we might see a turn plus you might see some of the familiar faces "just stopping by".

We are in this same situation here at my lodge. We have three lodges in our area who are in similar dire straights but the thought of merging or even the mention of selling the building sends everyone scrambling like 2 years olds screaming "MINE!" I don't know what to do. Will we have to fail...
We are holding a double edged sword. To not get any petitions or to get too many and not get quality. I think if we watch the gate, follow the letter of the law, more would be better then none.
Better to be able to pick and choose then to be wondering when you will shut the doors forever.
