It won't benefit me at all. All I'm trying to do is make it fair for others in the future.
Lets say for example: You're the Vice President...... Something happens to the president and you have to take over..... That makes YOU the president and YOU get credit for it.
In this situation...
I was talking with the Grand Orator R.:W.: Jerry Martin this evening at our Lodge meeting.
I was asking him WHY if a person in my situation.... who has served since our Lodges installation as Worshipful Master Pro-Tem..... Why do we not get recognition from Grand Lodge for doing so? :confused...
I know of one young man that is 17 now. He has been asking me about Masonry for well over a year now. I plan on giving him a petition for his birthday gift. :cool:
Welcome to my world.... I am the elected SW this year but, our WM passed away 2 months into his term. So, I'm WM Pro Tem right now. If we have 20 show up to a meeting that's a lot...... And, our secretary is in very poor health. I have asked several times to get the LIFE program ordered.... And...
Be safe my Borther. One of my future brother-in-laws is going to be deployed to Afghanistan in a few weeks as well. He in the Marines. I will certainly be praying for all the troops, but especially y'all two.
I agree with all of you with one exception...... In my case: my instructor left for summer vacation to New Mexico. I was moved to another instructor who was with in a matter of 2 weeks called to active duty in the Army...... That was the only two that were available at the time......What should...
That's a great idea..... But, we have SO MANY older guys that don't have computers (nor do they want them).
However, any that we can send by email will save money. :D
