Well.... I thought I had read that. But, one of our PDDGM's said that it would be ok to open a MM then call down to an EA so the EA could hear the GM's message. I didn't feel like doing it because it would have slowed the meeting down AND, I've not called down from a MM before.....

Well, if that is truly the case it's a shame. I am personal friends with a few Prince Hall Masons and they are fine upstanding citizens. The Grand Lodge of Texas should not turn their backs on these Masons. After all, I'm sure that they took an Obligation that is very similar to ours.

I agree with you to a point. I have several friends that are Prince Hall Masons. Even though we can't discuss Lodge business or the esoteric work with each other.... They are STILL and always be Masons.

I agree. I was shocked when I went to Grand Lodge to see the sea of grey hair in the auditorium. We must get younger members involved otherwise we are going to be in some seriously bad shape in a few years.
