I should have been more clear. I was referring to a certificate issued by UGLE.
I see nothing in the GL of Fl certificate that mentions anything about proficiency. This is a standard certificate for all MM.
So please pardon me Levelhead.
We have one business (stated) meeting per month. We meet each week for practice for up coming degrees and next years officers practice. All our degrees are done on "called" meetings.
It is what it says it is. Masonic emblems. A tracing board, if you will. Possibly used in the lectures. I can't read the inscription but from the emblems shown it is not U.S. in origin.
Why would it not be for public view?? The emblems are not secret, only some of their explanations.
It would be year to year. Non-payment, dues would go up. New member, dues go down.
Perpetual Membership, what I guess is referred to as Endowment in this thread, has not been a good thing for lodges around me. It does nothing for the cash flow as monthly expenses continue to go up.
