I think you'd be hard pressed to find a copy of the monitor in pdf format. I've not ever seen one or heard of one offered. There may be a bridge to light pdf out there, but probably a pirated version if it exists.

Perhaps Da Vinci code sparked the "secret society" interested that eventually led them to stumble upon Masonry. Or maybe they mean Lost Symbol, but fear that others won't know the title and mention Da Vinci code instead for sake of conversation.
Yeah, I noticed the incongruence in the phrasing too, but is a tad forgivable given that the author wrote those words oh about 90+ years ago or so. But the gist is still there... Business is necessary, but the true purpose is the Work.
