    Resolutions

There has been a law similar to this in the past and all was not lost then. All DI's I have meet anyways will walk barefooted at midnight to help a Brother learn open and close. We may lose a ton of Lodges in the coming years but I guarantee not a one will be because this law.

    Nells in King Solomon’s Temple?

Exodus 39:25 They made pure gold bells, and placed the bells between the pomegranates. [The bells] were thus all around on the bottom of the robe between the pomegranates. 39:26 There was a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, all around the bottom of the robe. [It was thus...

    Globes on the Pillars?

Chr. 4:11-12, that says: . . . And Huram finished the work that he was to make for King Solomon for the house of God; to wit, the two pillars , and the pommels and the chapiters which were on the top of the pillars, and the two wreaths to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which were on...

    Crossing your legs during Lodge

Wonder if King Solomon ever crossed his legs while on the throne, I bet if the mood struck him right he did. THe problem with that is we do not all have the same clout as King Solomon did so in order to show our respect for Masonry to other Brothers sometime sacrifices are made on the indivduals...

    Between what Two Villages?

Sorry if I murder the spelling but I believe it is Succoth and Zeredatha, I was recently corrected on that part of the lecture and told it was Zarethan but my orginal mentor told me Zeredatha was correct town and it is or was close to Succoth.

    Worshipful Master

the only way I wouold agree to requiring a cert. is if it was Lodge by-laws not GL law. GL has there hands full with all the laws they have to enfoce now. I have also heard the same thing by a DI here in D/FW that when officers where req. to be certed in opening in closings it turned into a zoo...

    Why the disrespect?

"yeah, but you know everything I ever let go of had claw marks on it." Well said Brother we should all keep this in mind it rings straight to the core of all our older Brothers issues. IF they are involved as hard as it may be at times you will be the one getting the rewards for your efforts...

    Texas Lodge of Research

no I unfortunately have no excuse but laziness for not joining. My first paper is on circumambulation, I am working on my second about the 3 knocks, Indented Tessell and Masonry's teaching on prayer. I will look into the GL law or by-laws on the exact procedure. I also need to follow the...

    Should Codebooks Be Allowed

Actually the Grand Lodge is the only body tha can approve changes to the wording of the obligation and it has to be presented at GL and voted on so it would not be easy to do. Com. on Work can only change the foot work. So if you are a member of GL then you would be responsible for rewritting...

    Endowed Membership

that would be up to the individual but that would be nice of them, to pay dues or contribute in other ways. To me giving starts the proceses of recieving you cannot recieve anything without first giving so giving a little extra to lodge is a win win for the Brother who does it.

89 that is awesome. Seems like Mt Everest right now and I often wonder if I should even attempt writting a paper to join but if Masonry has taught me anything that with a little aid from the Diety, time, patience and perseverance we can obtain just about anything we want even a TLR apron. lol

Have you worn your white leather apron?

I bet that looks sharp with a room full of white leather aprons. I have wanted my lodge to buy about 30 of them for regualr meetings it seems to me we should wear them all the time. When I wear my leather one I seem to walk taller and speak clearer as opposed to the cloth white apron which has...

    Is Masonry too cheap?

I concure that if Masonry is important enough for someone they will find away to pay, but there is a problem with that statement as well. A Brother on a TRUE fixed income one to old or disabled to work any longer is left to make some hard choices sometimes between that tank of gas to go visit...
