Harmony...May Brotherly love prevail. May the spirit of Freemasonry soften the hearts of those who pride has become so sharp that it would cut them from ear to ear.
I like the drum rolls in Death Metal, but the vocals are atrocious and the lyrics, well they depend on the band...if you can even understand them...Napalm Death is ok...
Agreed, I don't see the Yamaka the same as I see a hat. It is of a religious nature as you said to show their servitude to their God, and as such, I would respect it as being a part of their very being, as I am sure they see it too.
I am Metal, Punk, Reggae, Hip Hop, classical kind of guy. I can chill to country with my Texas peeps but I admit it took some getting used to and I don't own any cd's or put the country station on in the car....although I do have some college memories of a bottle of Johnny Walker, some...
I couldn't agree more. While it is nice to make a fashion and style statement, it is VERY important that when utilizing the Masonic symbols as adornments and jewelry that we as Masons are at the ready with knowledge. When questioned, it would be nice if a brother Mason could emulate the...

I'll say, the fact that only one man is wearing a hat is a bit of a brow raiser, however, when I look at the picture, it doesn't look any lodge I have been in, but of course, that picture depicts a totally different era so I can't b sure. I know if it was today, I would have to say...
I would think that as long as you are able to pass proficiency, attendance in study group should optional...but I am not in TX. In CT we have "Lodge of Instruction" night coupled in with Ritual rehearsal. Attendance is optional, unless of course you have a part in an upcoming degree, in which...
I think you are twisting the point. You aren't asked to take off your wedding band to symbolize a loss of connection with your spouse...but you take off your school ring, your necklace, earrings, glasses... I won't go into the lessons or into any other details as not to cross the line of...
