Very sound advice. Stick close to the Blue Lodge, run a few chairs, teach a few new students (you owe it now.) If you rush, you may rush yourself through and miss most of the growth each affiliation offers.

I wouldn't bet against the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania having a tie to Antigua. Pennsylvania was very active in the islands. Even in Louisiana during Andrew Jackson's time. I'd love to explore their GL library.
Thanks brother Stewart. Very good information to know. Both sides of my heritage were active in masonry in Louisiana since late 18th century immigrations from Prussia and Alsace Lorraine (Germany in those days.) I'd love to add my name to that heritage.

Scores are now in for District 30-D. Cypress Lodge 1423 led the way with an 86. Considerable improvement over last year. I've enjoyed this year's DDGM tour. Three DDGMs from Northwest Lodge are servicing this year. Does anyone know of any other lodge having that many DDGMs among its ranking...
