Is the end really near for freemasonry ?

It serves a purpose in keeping every group of disaffected Masons from taking their aprons and forming their own Freemasonry every time Grand Lodge gets their back up. There's enough pseudo-Masonry running around the states already. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk

Is the end really near for freemasonry ?

If that's the case then it does sound like it could be concerning. As has been stated previously, let them sell all the buildings. That's a finite resource and Lodges don't need them to operate anyway. Good luck with that. Since all mainstream GL's as well as PHA GL's in the US claim...

Is the end really near for freemasonry ?

Who exactly is getting these bonuses? the GL as an entity or officers of the GL? It seems to me that you are saying that the Grand Lodge is intentionally selling Lodge buildings for their benefit. Your GL must publish an annual budget with accounting records. What are they doing with this ill...

Is the end really near for freemasonry ?

I'll reiterate my advice already given above. Have you looked into the reason that Brothers who are being suspended for NPD see no value in continuing their membership with the Lodge? If they saw a benefit to being a Mason and associating with their Lodge had value to them, they would find the...

    Request to join Freemasonry Brotherhood.

If you are looking for information on a forum like this, it is always better to create a new thread to ask your question instead of asking your question on somebody else's thread. The original poster on this thread was asking about UAE, not Jordan, so replies will likely be about UAE and not be...

Congratulations Brother! Deep breath. It's work but it's worth it. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk

    Lebanon

Well, I hope you keep searching and find a good Lodge. A friendly suggestion though, using Masonic symbols before you are initiated is frowned upon. It could give the wrong impression. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk

    Lebanon

You were looking for a Lodge in Lebanon a few months ago? Did you find one? Just curious since your profile image now makes it look like you are a Brother.

    Heraldry and Grant of Arms

It is worth noting, that I have seen many Lodges that use what definitely looks like a coat of arms or heraldry but I can safely say they are probably not registered with any heraldic authority. Heraldry is traditionally only registered to individuals, not organizations. I'm not an expert by...

Anyone from Grand Lodge of Ohio

Good on you Brother for attempting to repatriate the items. I hope you're able to get them to him or his family. So many items find their way to yard sales when a Brother dies and his family doesn't know the significance. My GL has a form that you attach to your will that stipulates what to do...

Art from the trenches | Museum of Freemasonry | Online talks

I love trench art. Some amazingly beautiful pieces came out of such horrible times.

    Lane's Masonic Records

Were you looking for something in particular or do you often find yourself reading the phonebook for fun? :) But that does look like a good resource.

    Asking for help please

We can't help you. You need to relocate to a country that does permit Freemasonry and establish yourself there to join a local Lodge.

    Looking for Myanmar Lodge

Not going to happen as long as the government forbids it.

    Looking for Myanmar Lodge

No. And you will get no support from Regular Freemasons to subvert a government who has banned Freemasonry. And honestly, if you are starting your secret group on a public forum, you've already failed. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk

    Asking for help please

Not necessarily the end of his journey. But he would need to relocate to a country that does permit Freemasonry and establish himself there to join a local Lodge.

    Looking for Myanmar Lodge

As far as I know, there are no Regular Lodges operating there since Burma banned Freemasonry in 1984. A quick search did not turn up any changes to this. If you want to join Freemasonry, you will need to move to country that permits it.

    Making Good Men Better

I just received my latest edition of Philalathes, Vol. 74, No. 1, and it had a review for short book that looks interesting. It's only $7.99 on Amazon so I grabbed it. Apparently it is a 52 week personal growth plan for Freemasons. Color me intrigued...

    "Tavole Architettoniche"

Couldn't agree more. There is a much better opportunity for learning through discussion instead of passively listening. I've even been in Lodges where they go around the room with each person reading a few sentences of an article like we're in primary school. lol

Is the end really near for freemasonry ?

Don't take this the wrong way, but I see open houses put on by Lodges who are struggling with membership as the worst possible decision. Unless you fix the problem that is causing your Lodge members to leave you will just be initiating a new crop of members who will become dissatisfied and...
