Memorizing the proficiency is the method of progressing through the degrees in most Masonic Lodges; Ideally, you will be paired with a mentor who aids you through the process and your memory abilities will improve with practice. The memorization takes the form of a dialog of questions and...
I've tried the "Commercial Suicide"; it was a pretty tasty English style Ale if I remember right. Will have to look for more of their other varieties to try in the future.
Shiner is a nice "mainstream" beer. It amazes me how much it has spread outside of Texas in the last few years.
I like a lot of the local brews I have tried in the Austin area. 512 Brewery and Live Oak Brewery both have great lineups. I don't care for the 512 Wit, but everything else I have...
Congrats, Ed! I did mine last night, I know exactly how you feel! Has your Fellow Craft degree been scheduled yet? I received mine last night as well. All I can say is wow! If you haven't received it yet, you are in for a treat.

That's very true. The person that originally posted the picture on another (non-Masonic) board I visit claimed they saw it at a local "Flea Market". I think flea market means something very different to them than it does to me; but if it sold in that setting I'm sure it would go for below...
Yeah, I would think he would be charged with both. May have plead it down to "just" forgery; but seems like a pretty clear case of forgery and embezzlement. It seems they have charged him with a count of forgery for each falsified check. They may be waiting on the embezzlement to determine...
