Brother,
I find people like that comical. If they only knew the good that this Fraternity has done for the world. I can speak specifically to what it has done for me personally. I am a better person because of my being part of this extraordinary Brotherhood. When people chose to judge me because...
Bro. Stedman,
I was in the 89th MP Brigade which, in Iraq at the time, fell under the theatre command of 1st Cav. When I finished, I was awarded both the 89th MP and 1st Cav combat patches. I met a whole bunch of great guys in that division. Some I haven't seen in a long time and sincerely hope...
Bro. Stedman, I notice the 1st Cavalry patch on your shoulder in your picture. I was attached to them when i was deployed in 2005. Glad to see a good military man who appreciates the Masonic fraternity.
At our Regional School of Instruction today, I talked with a few RAMs, filled out my petition, and submitted it. I am very much looking forward to continuing my search for light in the Royal Arch.
Very well put. I had the same feeling going through the degrees. I still have it after being raised when I stumble upon a new piece of Masonic light which rekindles my need for more.
You have the right attitude, Bro. Heilman! It only gets better from here! If you always keep Freemasonry on...
I had the opportunity to take the One Day Class and turned it down to instead go through the Blue Lodge Degrees like the men who traveled the road before me. Best decision I ever made.
Bro. Hodapp,
I wish you the best. I actually just got finished reading Solomon's Builders. What a great book. You have a gift for composing Masonic literature and I hope that the Grand Architect of the Universe guides you through this so you can continue to represent out Fraternity as well as...
Best of luck to Bro. Hodapp. He is a great unofficial spokesman for our fraternity. I wish the best in his recovery and pray that the Grand Architect protect him and guide him through these times.
The EA is such an eye opener. Quite an enlightening experience. The 3rd degree is quite moving as well as you will experience soon. Welcome to the Craft, continue to seek light, and enjoy the hell out of this wonderful fraternity of ours.
Thank you for this link, Brother Stewart. I just ordered my ring. I had a cheap one previously which I wore for like two days until it started to wear off on my finger so I junked it. This will be my first good Masonic ring, thanks to the craftsmanship of Brother Gordon. I am very excited.
I remember receiving the book but I don't recall it saying that I could not become a Freemason. It may have said something in vague language about joining organizations against the church but Masonry is not against the church nor is it explicitly named in the K of C booklet.
Masonry is far...
I look forward to your response. The Jesuits are known to be the more liberal and highly educated branch of the Catholic Church so it would be interesting to hear they're opinions on the matter.
