    San Antonio Lodges

I'll be attending another training course in San Antonio the first part of August. I know there are many lodges there. Can anyone recommend one to visit if they have a stated meeting or degree while I'm there? Thanks.

    Candle light in the Lodge

Pretty sweet. I don't know why more lodges don't do it, I wish ours did.

Thank you. I'll be looking into both the books and video.

    Moving to Fort Hood, Texas

I believe the GLoTX allows dual/plural membership in and out of state. I'm not sure if the GLoKS does. Funny, I just posted something on a different forum concerning a similar matter about visitation between MS and PH lodges in Kansas and Texas.

    Having many masters?

I've heard so many different answers to this question, it does cause ones head to hurt. I wish something more concrete would come out concerning the issue when it comes to visitation if someone is a member under two different GLs. So, say you belong to a lodge in TX and KS. What are the rules...

Cell phone use in the Lodge

    I thought $50 was a little steep. Maybe $5 or $10.

That is a lot of writing, but sounds well worth it.

I think 1911s look sharp. I had a Kimber eclipse and a Springfield champion. Maybe it was me, or the ammo, but I felt the feed ramp was too steep/angled, I had a lot of failures to feed. I traded them both in. I did buy a pair of punisher grips for the Springfield. Pretty sweet looking. They...

Just a hypothetical question, but if you could only have one handgun for the rest of your life, what would it be? Rifles and shotguns excluded. I would have to stick with my Sig 229 or a 226 in 40 cal.

I've noticed the working tools are different in the Emulation ritual. 9 instead of 6. But that is probably a whole other subject.

What do you tell the Anti Freemason?

If I spent my day trying to argue my beliefs and principals, I would get nothing done. Anti Catholic, anti military, anti mason, anti gun, anti you name it. Unless I believe it is going to be an intelligent conversation or debate, I simply excuse myself, and go on about my business. If there is...

    Fellowcraft

My favorite too. I hear a lot of brothers say it is their favorite as well. The memory work should become a lot easier for you as well.

PX4 is a sweet piece. I've always wanted the two tone with the desert frame. Also, their CX4 carbine has always been on my list.

Can't thank you enough for the response. I'm glad I wasn't alone in my thoughts concerning the Lodge.

If you're interested, I believe hogue makes some great aftermarket grips with the finger grooves. I've put them on my Sig, Ruger, and Taurus revolver.

I guess it's one of my pet peeves. Even though I love glocks and some of the other polymer frame handguns that normally have the polymer guide rods, I always buy a metal aftermarket one and replace it. Some will argue they are more sturdy, lighter in weight, and so on. Others like myself think...

I'm glad to hear they are safe. You are in our thoughts and prayers. God bless.

Ouch. Did you loose one? Or, was it stolen I should say?

Darn. I just drove through East TX on 20. Could of unloaded a few clips.
