I have never shot a firearm before, so I don't know how much fun it may be. I believe whoever owns a firearm or teaches their own children to shoot, should be a very responsible individual. I am not against gun control as long as the owner has the proper training and the maturity to own a gun.
How can a member obtain a copy of this law book. I see some brothers here constantly cite the book. Just wondering if there is a way to own a copy of it and where to get one.
I like to chat with the prospect and get to know him before I sign his petition, all it would take from my end is a nice conversation, 10 - 30 mins or even lunch if possible. I want to know where they're from, what they do for a living, for fun, etc. And I will also be happy to share my story...
I own a copy of the book, it helped me go over what I already had learned through the proficiencies, it helps me now to learn the questions, so that when I meet one of the new brothers I am teaching, I have already studied ahead of time what the brother will learn in our session.
I don't have a particular favorite one, each degree is very meaningful to me equally! Because every time I witness one, I remember that I was once there receiving new light!
I concur, I hear that all the time!

I highly encourage you to visit a lodge, get to know the members, chitchat with them, have lunch, make friends, etc. We'll always be glad to see a new face in lodge, I am sure you will be guided the right way. Don't be shy or feel awkward, again we enjoy meeting prospects.
