These lodges are most likely made up of men who quit the fraternity because they were at odds with the landmarks or were expelled for some reason or another. These men now form lodges and catch unsuspecting people with genuine intentions. The lodge however is at odds with our regular/recognized...
While I agree with your sentiment, history has proved over and over what large corporations and governments have done.
Politics are not to play a part in Masonry but you're seeing what politicking does in the organization and it is not limited to masonry.
dual by definition (not masonic definition) is 2. Dual wielding pistols, axes, etc ...
Plural by definition is multiple...More than 1.
Some jurisdictions may only allow 1 lodge at a time.
Some might only allow two. The term "should" be dual but I bet there are GL's that use plural here...
Edited: I reread my reply and it seems harsh. I do not know you personally so take what I have to say about what could/would happen with your experience with a grain of salt.
I feel sorry for you in a way.
I learned about freemasonry through conversation with a mason who warned me not to...

Anything that divulges ritual or work that is conducted behind a tyled door should be avoided. An example I can think of would be born in blood which uses examples from...
I have seen chum give one of the various modes to certain appraisers that get called in from time to time.
The old man and father are most likely masons but I highly doubt that Corey is a mason.

I will never ask someone if they were a ODCer though. I chose to go through the degrees on the advice of a friend who sparked my interest into the fraternity. I went through each degree with one month (28 days) in...
