Two Visiters

Two Masons from the lodge came to visit my Wife and I last night. We sure enjoyed the visit and I for one am looking forward to sitting in lodge with the two men. They said they should be voting next Tue. at the stated meeting. They did say they would be seeing me at the lodge. Still I am a little nervous about the vote. Something about the human instinct of wanting approval I guess.

Eh don't sweat it. You'll be fine. It's easy to get nervous over the investigation, but it's good that you are taking the opportunity as fellowship and form opinions about your future brothers and getting to know them personally, just as they are forming ones about and getting to know you... as it should be.

I was so nervous I called my secretary who was also my sponsor and 2nd guesses and questioned my whole involvement. Needless to say I pulled through after a few choice but perfect words from my sponsor. I actually pulled over on the side of the road to rethink what I was about to go through.

Thank you everyone. I am as I said nervous but its more from seeking someone's approval I don't know. But the more Brothers I meet from the lodge the more comfortable I become. I am truly blessed to have this opportunity at this point in my life. What I mean is, I don't think I would have been ready earlier in my life mentally or emotionally. I think I am at a point in my life that I am much more appreciative of compassionate people doing good things.
