The next step completed

Tonight at about 7pm (couldn't tell ya, I was divested of my watch) I was made a FC Mason and I have to say the FC degree was alot cooler than EA. No offense to any EA's out there! You'll see what I mean when ya get there.

I'm looking to turn my FC work in within the next two weeks.

Blake, I'm one more step closer to that MoTx tattoo, Brother!

Congrats and I would tell you to get that work in asap but hang out as a FC for awhile because it is far to often passed over as the degree before you get your Masters degree. It rarely gets the respect or time it deserves.

Nothing ever pisses me off more than hearing another Brother tell a new FC to "just get the work over fast, because it's easy and meaningless." The Fellowcraft degree was, is, and remains the most meaningful degree in Blue Lodge Masonry to me.

I too was recently passed to FC. I thought the lessons were great. And while the proficiency seems to be shorter, I am in no rush to complete it.
