This is something that is commonly taught wrong with the List of Lodges Masonic. This book is published for most grand jurisdictions in the US and possibly some abroad. They change the cover to suit your Grand Lodge. So by doing this they have to come up with a way to suit each jurisdiction even though some may recognize more than the next. The way of doing this is once you look at a Grand Jurisdiction, PHGLofCA for instance, then you would have to flip to our jurisdiction's section, Texas for us, and read the fine print in the bottom of the section. It actually says we recognize all jurisdictions in this book EXCEPT....
