Unless things have changed, there are no Regular Masonic Lodges in the UAE outside of those established on Western military bases and you would need to have access to those bases to join or attend those lodges. Most Arab countries have made Freemasonry illegal or heavily suppress its activities as they believe the very untrue allegation that we are a Zionist plot to subvert their government.
That is correct as far as I know. Freemasonry is not active in Dubai and the UAE, it is not permitted by the Government in Dubai, so lodges do not meet.
The UAE is the most peaceful and open-minded society in the Middle East and entered the Abraham Accord and made peace with Israel. This gracious action has brought hope for peace and brotherhood among all people of all faiths in the UAE and the region. We pray for peace and brotherhood.
Freemasonry is illegal, or at least severely restricted, in most Islamic or Arabic countries. Dubai is one of those.
As Masons, we are strictly admonished to obey the laws of hosting countries, so if Masonry is illegal in our country, for whatever reason, it's not a Good Thing to put up a lodge nor to display the emblems of the Craft.
