I was raised a year ago and since then I have not been very active in Masonry. I have attended Lodge a few times, visited a Lodge with a friend and made time to go by my Lodge and make a donation at a recent fundraiser. There is no reason for this other than I have been busy. I am married, recently started a new job, and have 2 children. As a matter of fact, as I type this I am in a hospital room waiting for my wife to deliver our new baby. I constantly have on my mind that I want to be a better Mason. I fell like I am a good example and represent Masonry well. I live right, take pride in family, country and community. I do not.come from a "Masonic" family, meaning I didn't grow up around Masonry. It is something I became curious and passionate about in my late 20's. My wife has been very supportive in my journey and that has been great. However, when not at work I want to be with her and the kids and everything seems to find its way to the back burner.
That said, are there any suggestions from more experienced brothers that can give me some advice and guidance as to how I can take baby steps to being a better Mason.
