Good Morning,

I am a raised member of PA Lodge #427.
I was raised last November, so I am relatively new to the fraternity.
In January I became a member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Masonic Knowledge
I acquired Level One Masonic Scholar Certification at the end of March.
I am currently working toward Level Two Masonic Scholar Certification.
I have soooo many questions and I hope this forum will provide me enlightenment.
No organization in the US or no one person worldwide speaks for our great fraternity.
Many masons and non-masons cite masonic authors like Coil, Mackey and Pike as true authorities.
They are, in many instances, misquoted, misunderstood, and endowed with questionable virtues.
I am searching for the truth.
I look forward to discussions of substance.

In the United States, no one speaks for Freemasonry. In each state, the Grand Master has the say for that state during his term of office. There were, and are today, many great Masonic authors. They still aren't speaking for the fraternity. They are giving their views and interpretations.
