Thinking about doing a golf tournament as a fundraiser this year. There is a casino with a nice golf course, so I hear, close to my lodge. Anyone have experience with doing an event like this? Thanks

Sounds fun if the golf course will make it worthwhile in terms of costs.
I know my lodge would have a hard go of it as we have an older membership aswell as a young crowd who aren’t golf folk.
That said if the course will comp it on a quiet day and perhaps a discount on drinks you can charge the greens fees and drinks changes plus whatever donations and make a nice bit of coin.
