Well since I have already posted the actual *new* plate information in a previous post, I don't have a problem sharing a photo of the actual plate on my Mustang... Will do as soon as it arrives!
This is a very sad story but it does not suprise me.
I wish that the author used a better choice of words than "last rites", I can think of several other terms that would not "stirr up" cowans as much.
My understanding is that as long as the petitioner is no more than one county outside of the jurisdiction of the lodge being petitioned, it is okay. I think that there is some additonal steps to take beyond those limitations.

Yes. You usually will be required to surrender your original "State Issued" plates, however if you are replacing another "Specialty" plate they sometimes let you keep them.
I have run into similar issues with custom plates before Brother... This is the main reason that I did not "wait" when we were advised to, so that I had a fighting chance at the availability of the plate. The best thing that I can suggest is look at what you are trying to do 3 diminsionally...
ESPN offers a fully customizable system, and yes the format that we play is head-to-head. Every aspect of their default settings for players, number of players, positions, scoring etc is fully up to the league commissioner to decide.
Sorry Brother I am going to sit out this year. I barely have time to manage one team let alone two or three. My wife and I are entering our 11th season with the same league that now plays on the ESPN format.
If I had to recommend a league format it would be ESPN...

It is $70. When you actually go into the order form, it will give you your options for spaces and special charaters. In my case I ordered a variation of my initials "S*M*O", where the asterisks are mini-Texas shapes will appear.
I know that the GLoTX requested us to "wait" before purchasing, however that does not work out well when it comes to customization. I ordered my custom TX Mason tags just a few minutes ago. I was disappointed to be limited to 5 characters though... It worked out for my initials though.
I usually do not do anything special to the meat other than basic seasoning (on top) and patty construction. I use salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and minced onion on the tops of burgers before cooking.
It's too much work IMO to break down the ground beef and add a bunch of filler like...
