Hahah, yea that is exactly what I heard about the using of the Velcro name. To tell the truth, until I heard that when I was in the Army I had no clue that Velcro was the name of the company lol...I had never heard it called anything else so just assumed that was just the name of the material...
Dang it! I was really hoping that it was going to be really good...lol I was all excited, but I will save myself the disappointment and just wait for it to come out on disc...lol Thanks, ya'll :)
Lol, good stuff. I like the checkered pavement. How long does it take you to make something like that? How much does it cost to get a custom one made up if you have all the programs?...lol
I went to the link that Bro. Geeksgalore provided just to do some extra reading. I ended up going to the website of the Order of Women Freemasons and read some stuff on thier site. And then went to the website for the Womens Freemasonry USA which is a group of women that claim to be freemasons...
I gotta be honest cause I have a question (ha, yes another question from me...lol). From the get go in my Masonic journey, I have always heard that the blacks only go to Prince Hall and have even heard that whites are not allowed in Prince Hall (even though I have seen pictures all over the net...
Wow....... Now I know why politics and religion are "no-no's" to talk about in lodge...lol I could have taken the high road about this one like Bros Beathard and Courtemanche did and just ignored those comments. But like Bro. Luke, I had the overwhelming urge to say something. My original...
Good point. Is there a place in particular to an electronic copy of this? Or are there any Brothers that have a copy they could share? If so, I can provide my email address. If we aren't allowed to pass it around like that, no worries.
So mote it be! Happy Memorial Day to all and thank you to everyone serving or has served. Especially those that gave all to the calling of our country.
Just trying to clarify the way you described the straps and fastener. Lol gotta forgive me cause what the Army calls Velcro is "hook and loop fastener". So, by reading what you described I pictured straps with metal velcro as the fastener. I highly doubt that is what you are looking for, but...
That is a pretty cool shirt. I am weary at times about ordering things from a site that I haven't heard of before. So, if you wouldn't mind, can you do me a favor and let me know when you get yours in and what you think about it? I really like the design of that shirt and will buy one in the...
Thanks for posting that. Pretty tough video to watch. After I watched it the first time after you posted it, I couldn't get certain things out my head and was missing a good buddy of mine. We grew up together, and in the service he was somewhat a bit of a mentor to me, and a soldier that I...
In the spirit of the original thread regarding Masonic wallpapers, does anyone know of a good site that has a lot of premade Masonic wallpapers? Any sites will be helpful. Hoping to find some good ones for my iPhone and for my laptop. Thanks, guys. List of multiple sites will work good as well.
I can't help with any kind of "standards" (as I think that there really aren't any official standards). I have always wore my wring with the points facing outward. Mostly cause it just looks goofy to me when the points are towards me. Just seems like it is upside down. There was once that I...
Due to the recent thread regarding the A.L.L. program, I was reminded of a question that I have about it. I didn't want to post my question in that thread as there was only a couple of reply posts and I didn't want to "bird walk" that topic and that person not get the answer they were looking...
Awesome! Congratulations on that! I remember when I was told the date that I was going to get my MM. As the days got closer, I got so anxious and ready for it that it was hard to settle down the day or two before hand..lol Good job on getting all your work in and it is good to see another...
Welcome to the fourm! So, have you petitioned to join a lodge somewhere? If not, I'm sure there are plenty of Brothers here on this site that will be able to answer most of your questions that you have about joining and help guide you to the start of your Masonic journey if you choose to take it.
