I see your point Brother bgs942. Professing a faith or creed without living by its standards is hypercritical. I too see many folks who don't appear to be living by what they preach. As far as masonry is concerned, it all goes back to guarding that west gate. We must take our duties on...
Role models don't have to use hand signs and beat their chests. They just speak the truth on the square and level.
If we speak to our youth on the square and level as opposed to talking down to them we will gain their confidence.
Truly, we reap what we do sow brethren ... we reap what we do sow.
Brethren all. It's not different over here or over there. It's not our differences as masons we celebrate. It's our brotherhood as God fearing men hoping to make this world a better place for our having been here.

I guess I'm an "other" guy. Philosophy was my favorite of three majors in college (I hung around a long time) and I love history and what makes folks tick. I was awfully hungry out there in the profane world those years looking for someone to ocassionally coverse with. Usually, though not...
Seven unbroken generations on my father's side verified. Expect more in Europe. At least five, though broken, on my mother's side. Four of five brothers and all four sisters (OES) of my father. My older brother and I. Hoping the nephews follow the example.
Sounds fascinating! But so do cell phones. I just don't want to carry a big box around in the front seat of my car. Think I'm going to invest in pay phones down at the mall.
