Don't take it brother. I can tell you from personal experience there's not much ZEAL left after those 60-70 hour weeks. Just to find eight hours somewhere along the line.
Your point is well taken. Still there's the matter of "dead weight."
My issue with this is that it is the responsibility of the sitting Worshipful Master to vote per the desires of the lodge as a whole. Thereafter, he can vote as he pleases.
By letting all MMs vote you are reducing to minimal the wishes of those members who are prevented to attend Grand Lodge...
There are written documents in the form of Minutes in the possession of the GLoE dating back to 1390 (or so.) There are other documents dating back to the 900s as well. The spirit of freemasonry dates back to the Five Books of China and beyond when the Golden Rule was proclaimed as a tenant...
Still more unfortunately, there's no current GLoT provision for "fervency, and zeal" service of MMs either.

Not a bad idea. But two issues need to be clarified.
1) Do they go suspended if failing to pay dues?
2) Are they now considered full masons: just not MMs?
Yes. You would be contacted and investigated before any decision is made on your petition. The delay is not unusual due to the time between stated meetings. Also, if you haven't signatures on your petition that would have to be done as well. I do recommend that you personally hand over the...
