I have mixed feelings about this. I voted no , but would accept it if it did happen. I would hold no resentment towards any of the women joining the Lodge and would treat them as Brothers... or Sisters.....or whatever we would call them.:D I do feel however that a "Fraternity" should be for men...
I posted this in the original MOT Forum but I will post it again because I deeply enjoy reading the reasons men become Brothers. And also some men out there, like me when I became interested, dont know any Masons or just dont know that they do yet and it can be comforting knowing why others...
I plan on joining the Shrine hopefully soon after I am raised. I remember being a little kid at a local parade and watching the Shriners whizzing by in their orange doom buggys and motor bikes and asking my parents how and when I could get to do that. Unfortunately ,because nobody in my family...
I turned in my EA Proficiency tonight (9/8/08) and was passed to a Fellowcraft Mason. :cool: The Fellowcraft degree was awesome and meaningful. I enjoyed it way more than the EA.

I sure will Brother. On Monday (9/8/2008) I will receive my Fellowcraft degree ( if I can pass my Proficiency that is...) Prof. starts at 4 and afterwards the degree. Any and all Brothers are welcome to come.
