I worked with my Instructor about twice a week, plus my best friend would quiz me here and there. The more you here it the better. I would also recommend attending as many EA degrees and floor schools as possible. These will give you so visual cues, plus it will make more sense.
I had something like that happen when I was conferring my buddy's EA. He said back to me "cameltoe" instead of cabletow. I corrected him before it registered, then thought to myself, "Did he say camletoe?" I look over at my SW who is about to die doing everything he can not to laugh out loud...
If you really want to get to an Anti-Mason, tell them to prove their claims. In America, we are innocent until proven guilty. So tell them until they can offer proof contray to the actions you've witnessed by Masons, as far as you are concerned they are just bearing falsewitness against their...
Get you a system that helps you memorize the order. And don't feel bad, I saw a PM who hadn't done it in a while try to give them. He got the first 4 right, then started skipping around.
I would say the EA was the most difficult. It's that first step into such a big brave new world. There is just so much to take in. Plus like anything new, there is an adjustment period in getting used to all the new inflow of information coming your way. But although it's the hardest, it...
Hand signals always help. They help trigger the memory without having to tell them the word. I have had guys ask me why the brother who instructed me and many of my brother helps patting his butt. I grin and tell him, "Right side is 'assist', left side 'rear'." Then you can see the light...

Personally, I would love to...
That's a nice deal. I would see about trying to get some type of agreement with the family if the brother's children are not part of Masonry. I've seen many things that have passed onto the heirs of a brother who were not involved in Masonry lost. I would seek maybe even the possibility of...
As stated above, attend degree ceremonies whenever you get the chance. While watching the degrees take place, piece it all together and learn the order and what takes place where and why. Get the flow of the degree as it were. Many lodges also have some kind of work night or floor school...
I just simply tell them, "That's your opinion based on your choosen relgious beliefs, both which you have a right to have and express thanks to the 'evil' Freemasons." And then try to leave it at that. If they try to persist, I add, "I'm sorry, I'm not willing to discuss this any further...
The only thing about presenting only the facts, is that facts are usually boring, especially when there really aren't any other then those mentioned by Bro. Stewart. Now I will go one step further, do these powerful and influential people getting together have an impact of world affairs...
