I am so pumped, today i am taking the York Rite degrees. This is the day i have been waiting on for 2 months now. GAHH it needs to hurry up. I cant even sleep
As long as certain members are alive and active in the GLoTX, Philalethes is banned in Texas, and that most likely won't change.
Why are the Philalethes banned?
One of our past masters told me that when he was made the worshipful master. He asked all the living past masters to have a meeting with him. There he asked them what they wanted to see, how the lodge should be lead, etc. He learned alot from that meeting. Now he is viewed as one of the best we...
I wish we could have stricker rules on the investagtion of people wanting to become masons. I have known of brothers doing the investagtion at the lodge instead of going to the candidates house. Also having only 1 person ask the questions and the others just going thru the motions.
I am a proud Mason of Texas. I am 22 years old, and i have noticed that guys my age jsut dont know about the Masonic Lodge, its a true shame that they dont. I am trying my best to find men my age or a little bit older to invite, but it is hard to find them. Guys my age are more worried about...

i found a china plate that my grandfather had. and a print of a painting of George Washington in his masonic apron that i bought but looking for something that few have seen.
Personally i enjoy having Grand Lodge in Waco. My only wish is that they could improve the parking around it. Even though i cant vote in Grand Lodge because i am not a past master, i do enjoy attending grand lodge communications.
I ordered some books about the history of freemasonary from Barnes & Noble. they should be here by monday. I am exicted to learn more about our craft and our ancient brethern. I was raised a master back in may but have been busy learning the degrees, lectures, and charges
