I turned in my FC proficiency today, it is a very cool degree and much easier than EA.

Why is it necessary in a one day process to also become a shriner and 32 degree srm? I am very new to the Fraternity and while I plan on joining both shrine and Sr there is something to be said for the journey.

Where I am (San Angelo) it seems the fires are constant, thankfully I do not personally know anyone who lost life, limb, or property. The Big Bend region and north-central Texas have been hammered as well.
