Is there a "grandfather" clause in the ALL requirement or do I need to suspend a bunch of our 50 and 60 yr members who have not compleated it including PMs and Past DDGMs?
I don't think it would ever be accepted here in Texas in fact there are probably some strict ritualist here who think brothers from California aren't real masons since they did not have to learn all the Q&As (in honor of...!) LOL
I wonder if we will even have to pay per captia next year. I don't think there is a member of my lodge who took the A.L.L. program within 90 days of being raised so I guess we are all suspended.I was raised in Jan 1990 turned in my MM work in Feb 1990 but haven't completed the A.L.L.
Texas had a large number of military lodges during the War of Northern aggression. We also had Lahneck# 1186 in Goblenz Germany in 1922-23 and Ort Bavarian in Munich from 1953-1957
I was getting ready for work when I got an e- mail from a brother in NYC telling me to turn on the tv.Long day stayed home from work and kept in contact with the bro from NY he had just retired as a Captain from FDNY and his son was also a fireman there,he was in the 2nd tower but came out ok.
Here is a great website I just found
http://www.masonicrenewal.org/secciones.php?idSeccion=33
It's from the Masonic Renewal Committee of the Conference of Grand Masters of North America.
Enjoy!!
I might be because they sent the CD of 2010-2011 Directory of Constituent Lodges with it this month.I get the e-mail version and forward to our WM,SW,JW, and Treas. every month.
Just went to the post office to get the lodge's mail and had to pay 34 cents for postage due to get the Grand Secretary's Monthly Maintenance from Grand lodge.I wonder if we can take the 34 cents off next years per captia:closedeyes:
I don't think they are on the approved list here in Tx just the FMRC.I do know they are approved in almost all of the rest of the states as well as overseas.
