    Greetings from Gulfport, MS.

Welcome! I'm stationed at Keesler. I've been to Polar Star, great group of brothers.

Inter-Visitation, Politics and Racism in Texas

We need to follow in the footsteps of the previous GLs who allowed visitation. It would be a bumpy ride, but well worth it. Visitation is all many Brothers want, not to merge or take members away from their lodges. Some members will be mad, some members may even leave the fraternity, and some...

Grand Lodge of the State of Israel

Don't get wrong, I don't know how extensive their networking is, it is just another door to open for some. I understand and value your opinion, I just think being an Israeli lodge adds something more to it. Why do we join YR, SR, Shriners, AMD, research lodges, and the countless other bodies?

Grand Lodge of the State of Israel

For many, Israel and its region are very fascinating. They may have a want to belong to something that ties them to it. There is rich Religious, historical, and Masonic history in that area. I can see why an international lodge would seem appealing. In my opinion, it would be more than just...

Grand Lodge of the State of Israel

I apologize, I should have been more specific. Under the info tab on the GL of Israel website, there is a related sites section. Click on "about Freemasonry in Israel". Once at this new site, there is a tab at the left side titled invitations. Click on L of the Holy Land #50 International...

Grand Lodge of the State of Israel

I found a link on their site that allows you to petition and affiliate with an Israeli lodge as long as your GL was recognized by the Israeli GL. I believe they hold stated communications for members able to visit Israel a few times a year. That would definitely be a unique membership for an...

Which Lodge did you petition, and under what Grand Lodge does it fall under? That information will determine your visitation with other lodges.

    Codebooks and Secrets in Texas

I think a majority of jurisdictions have some type of book. There is a thread on here somewhere that stated exactly how many copies of the TX one was sold. I think more people own one than we realize. I personally don't see an issue with it as long as it stays home. If I'm not mistaken, TX...

Saw this on Bro. Porter's Facebook page...

In some areas it needs to be done. I can visit 11 different Lodges within 30 min. Some can barely open in the MM degree.

Saw this on Bro. Porter's Facebook page...

I think a lot of Lodges would have to shut their doors and consolidate. I'm a fan of it in my area. It would be awesome to see so many great Brothers in one centralized Lodge, but there are many who are not willing to give up their charter or station, and I can understand why.

    Knight Masons

Congratulations. I just returned from my first Super Excellent Master degree. It was awesome, and I had the chance to me the Grand Master from Mississippi.

    California Masons

I'm almost positive that any Lodge located under the Lodge Locator section on the Grand Lodge of California official site should be good to go. As far as them being F&AM, that really doesn't make a whole lot of difference. Every mainstream Lodge under the GLoCA will be F&AM. I would see what...

A traveling book for the traveling Mason

Let me know when you're done Dow. I'll take the next offer.

    why all the confusion ?

Well said Bro Jones. So many Masons seek education and more light they don't know what to do with themselves, but are often left empty handed, or rely purely on self education. No matter what, I will support the Lodge and hope things get a little brighter.

A traveling book for the traveling Mason

That is a cool idea. What did you think of the book?

    Masons of Texas Exclusive

I moved to Mississippi a few months ago, and will soon have plural membership with a Lodge here. It saddens me to say that the segregation between mainstream and PHA is even worse here, and I've heard nothing of trying to bridge the gap. Man, wish I was back in TX.
