    Looking for advice

It will likely be fine as in another gentleman's thread http://www.masonsoftexas.com/showthread.php?18188-I-am-in-a-dilemma&p=97092

    Looking for advice

There was a guy at my last job that elicited a similar response from my person. Easy, handle yourself as a gentleman, do not be baited. Disregard him, act as if he is not there, look around the lodge as you normally do. BUT if he does touch you in any means other than to shake your hand. Have...

    Masonic Emblems

I have them on the back of my vehicles, quick story here according to what my wife told me. My wife was entering the hwy when a car behind her swerved onto the side of the road and drove past kicking up rocks. It then proceeded to brake check her several times... my kids were in the car. All of...

    Masonic quest

You will have to undergo a background check, cannot very well have criminals entering our lodges.

    Hardship Concerning Dues

It would be nice to scale dues as a brother aged. In this manner the brethren on fixed incomes could still participate.

    Explosion in West, Texas

That is a really useful tool! Yes, it is the West, TX lodge. The site has an email and the phone number to the lodge. I just emailed them and will call them in a few hours. We have several threads about our need to be socially involved, well now a community needs our involvement more than...

    Explosion in West, Texas

Looks like Hillsboro and Waco are the nearest lodges, http://www.masonicmatrix.com/masonic-lodges-texas/ . West is on I35 inbetween the two cities. We need to be out there helping families, who is organizing? I can put together a donation form and direct payments to whichever WM is going to head...

Petition for Joint Recognition and Visitation

Don't know what you initially stated but input is welcome, positive or otherwise. I would just like to get to the bottom of this issue so I can resolve it.

    Cipher Books In Lodge

Ritual varies from state to state so if you did purchase one it would only be valid for that specific GL... and if that GL does not produce one then you cannot be sure that the cipher book you are studying from is presenting you with proper form for that GL... see the catch?

Petition for Joint Recognition and Visitation

I am contemplating calling the secretaries of each GL in regards to the petition. I would like official input from each jurisdiction.

    Masonic Law Question

Listening to all the banter it seems that the EAs in the local military lodge have to act as ushers at the church and clean up after the service. Most of the masons I know are very devout men.

    Masonic Law Question

Yes, and all I got for mine was an an apron and charges to act and walk as an upright man. :31:

    Chamber of Reflection

I never knew the room was intentionally set up like that. My lodge followed it to a T. My initiation, passing, and raising were truly life changing... something I am very pleased to have been a part of.

    Masonic Law Question

It is my limited understanding that the passage allows lodges to ask gentlemen to leave if they are inturrupting work, as I would ask an employee to please step out of a meeting if they were detracting from the meeting for the sake of being negative. How many meetings have you been to where...

    Are black people allowed?

Very good post here and something I have noticed myself in trying to break down the barriers between Mainstream and PHA.
