Grand Orient de France, Grande Loge de France, Grande Loge Nationale Française
In English, Grand Orient of France, Grand Lodge of France, French National Grand Lodge.
But the single band that looks like three bands united can be seen from a distance. I recently learned that some don't even have the equilateral triangle and 33 on them, just the triple band.
Actually, the problem was that with the way that was worded, it sounds like Prince Hall doesn't recognize The Most Worshipful Union Grand Lodge of Florida. What he meant was that "mainstream" Grand Lodge of Florida doesn't recognize The Most Worshipful Union Grand Lodge of Florida, and The Most...
I don't see any conflict between believing that Blue Lodge is most important and being actively involved in an appendant or concordant group. One needn't shun the Scottish or York Rite to prove one's loyalty to Blue Lodge.
I've just recently become aware that Minnesota has such a statute. I still don't think it would pass muster if challenged, and am not aware of it having been enforced any time since I've been a Mason. It reads:
We do the test oath on a "repeat after me" basis. We view the objective as having the visitor swear that he is a Mason in good standing, and does not know of any reason he should not be admitted.

Are you saying that they branded a man as part of his initiation into Freemasonry? That's totally outside of ritual, and what would be allowed in any well-governed lodge. How long ago was this?
You can find plenty of places to download it by searching "Morals and Dogma pdf free download," but you might want to consider buying the new, annotated version. http://www.scottishritestore.org/
That's an interesting perception. While my wife is totally supportive of my Freemasonry and is happy that I get a lot out of it, she is most decidedly NOT a part of the Masonic family. She has no interest whatsoever in taking part in any of my Masonic activities. I don't think she's ever even...
I'm not sure what you mean by that last sentence. We also go all the way to 33° here in the US, and in fact a larger percentage of our members are 33rds (about 1.5%) than in most countries. We have the "Inspector General Honorary," while in most countries that have Scottish Rite only their...
