Yes it is.
One reason may be folks would rather be fed than have to feed themselves.
Another may be they simply don't want to discuss in the manner a topic is presented.
Some have set beliefs and fear an argument instead of reasonable discussion.
Some just don't want to talk at all.

It is certainly different viewing, listening and participating from the "grandstands". Not near as much pressure, and ya can sometimes depend on the brother next to ya if your rusty, forget something or just a little off your game. All in all it is nice harmony in many ways.

Check out Mckinney, Allen and a smaller community named Howe. Howe is still pretty small but for what you're lookin for it may fit your bill. Still want to more urbanized but not right next to her work you may go further north to Sherman. Longer commute but a straight shot to Plano.
Reports say over 18,000 employees will lose their job. I think i'd take the pay cut rather than lose it all.
Haven't eaten any of their products in a long time. But it will be sad for an old company like that to go by the way.
