This is a two way street. "Believers" in science and corporations as all good extend the same courtesies, except its codified in our laws.
These companies obviously need the protection since they only make tens of billions a quarter and have perfect product... We have faith in that.
One thing to consider - there is no indigenous religion left in the extreme majority of Europe (I think Roma gypsy beliefs might be it).
I was a little repulsed when the last Pope repeatedly referred to Europe's Christian heritage. It wasn't exactly a friendly transition...
This is a good collection of frequently misused scripture.
I had fun with an atheist once with a similar rant, but I pointed out to him all of his scripture references were Old Testament and suggested he go to a Jewish forum to discuss why he hated the Jews so much....
These guys usually...
Well, a lot of people complained that it was "overboard" - but the fact is people live overboard lives sometimes. I think my point is, it was realistic. I was impressed at the insight given to the perversion or dulling of some of the characters instead of just letting them stand as evil based...
If you have Chiller (a channel on Time Warner and others) or a BBC channel, you might be getting the show Apparitions.
It's about an exorcist - but I like it because it 1) shows spirituality as a real thing 2) shows spiritual people as real people 3) shows the supernatual
See if its on...
Filo dough is the fancy crepe, almost paper like dough. It's usually found near pie crusts or biscuits - it'll be refrigerated or frozen.
There are some recipes for batter version out there too. But I imagine you can use any reasonable batter you might be use to. Just be sure the...
"Illegal" is the only politically correct term I know of. I just prefer terms in general not purposefully meant to objectify people.
What did we use before the campaign to use illegal?
"Illegal Aliens" are Aliens by definition. He's a Pilot by definition. And an American, presumably. He is an Illegal American and Illegal Pilot (he did violate the laws of both).
Are you saying he didn't break any laws? He's an American. He's a pilot. He's a criminal.
And northern...
Agreed. But they are "illegals" which is used significantly more often to apply to one sub-set of law breakers in the US.
You never hear illegal drivers, illegal builders or really illegal Americans (which would be any law break who was a citizen).
Because it was an organized effort to...
Yes. Absolutely. As would a person driving without a license to drive (people who are three times more likely to be involved with fatal accidents). As is someone who speeds. As is someone who builds an addition to their house without a permit.
As are the people who hire them.
There...
Both. It's usually recycled rhetoric riddled with myths and misrepresentations with very little substance to back up the statements (beyond the costume and flag that is).
I'm not a fan of speaking for the dead (or resurrected).
I could get a meth dealer to do the same thing and explain...
I agree, but also the public face of organized religion. If you don't agree with the most vocal, it's assumed you are anti-God. It's hard to maintain your sympathies when even the faithful are demonized.
I would love to see this passion against amnesty applied to corporations. We pass laws on a regular basis to protect corporations ahead of time before law suits come to a head.
My favorite part is this guy details how "illegal" is one of the most politically correct terms around. Insisted...
Re: Your Prediction: Texas Freemasonry in 5-10 Years
Central in Texas is relative in my opinion. Once you get past a certain point in driving Texas, might as well keep going.
Re: Your Prediction: Texas Freemasonry in 5-10 Years
Bro. Quinten,
You might want to start a new thread for this - but I'll tell you, your comments are on point as to why I joined the Scottish Rite first and have no immediate plans for the York Rite. I think its compounded by the public face...
He spoke for about 90 minutes on history, customs, usages, and other aspects of Prince Hall Scottish Rite Masonry. I wish it could have gone on a little bit longer because I wanted to ask him to describe his jurisdiction’s methods of working degrees. I think there is a lot that our PHA...
