I belong to both The York and Scottish Rites. However, I prefer, and am more active in, the York Rite. In my opinion it is more a continuation of the Blue Lodge degrees. It explains some of the things mentioned in Blue Lodge which are not explained in the first three degrees.

The Grand Master just issued a new edict cancelling all Masonic activity through May 31st. He did the right thing but it is still sad.

Exactly. Here in Kentucky we only open on the MM degree. Unless we are going to refreshment to do business on a lesser degree they could not attend the meeting. However, they would be welcome at the meal before the meeting.

One of the lodges that I have visited used to allow the Boy Scouts to use their building for meetings and celebrations. However, this only lasted a short time. They would not clean up after themselves (wiping off the tables, taking out the trash, picking up after themselves, etc.) and someone...
