In discussions outside of Masonry where politics and religion are discussed I boil it down to something like this -

{Adults can disagree and remain friends. Adults agree to disagree. Children separate based on disagreements. Adults can disagree and still love each other. Love is a decision and action not agreement. Children alienate based on disagreements.}

Brackets because I vary the statements each time I write them. To this I add -

Thank the divine for the wisdom and inspiration to have landmarks that we don't discuss politics or religion to not open the problem in the first place!
