I met him once, he autographed a copy of his book "Black Square and Compass" for me. We didn't talk much. He seemed pretty knowledgeable as I recall.
I just checked and Amazon has them new for $355. Wow, I gave $20 for mine.

Used to converse with him on the Philalethes Society forums back when membership was legal for GLoTX members. A very bitter and racist individual. I read "Black Square and Compasses" and threw it in the trash. He and his ilk set race relations back for years.

I had heard of the book, " Black square and compass " hadn't read it yet, did not he was founder of the Phylaxis society. I am in the process of reading some of his papers, just decided to share. Set back race relations? How old are you, if you don't mind asking ?

How is that book? Going back and forth about getting it. I do have a book of his though.

Mid-60s. And, yes- I believe he was, if not a founder, one of the earliest members of the Phylaxis Society.
Disclaimer: Never read any of his work but I have read reviews of the books which were generally positive. Wondering if this is a reverse Pike kind of deal. He seems to be somewhat well thought of in the PHA community.
