GL of Michigan and the Shrine

Looks legit from the letter at the bottom of the page that you can view. I've heard grumblings here and there that the Shrine in general has been throwing around the idea of not requiring Masonic affiliation to become a Member, so maybe this won't come as a surprise that both parties did not come to an agreement. In any case, I'm sure there is more than meets the eye if this is a true story.

Michigan ideed, but the incident is interesting. Problems arise everywhere.

I think it's important that we all pay a little attention to them and how they are dealt with. We never know when our lodge's may facing the same. We may not always be best prepared nor might we handle it as well others. However we don't have to be taken by complete surprise.

Pass or fail, The current resolutions pertaining to felony convictions, background checks etc.. only highten our awareness to these potential problems.
