Brother Tom Shelton, Past Master of Fort Worth Masonic Lodge No. 148, has just handed Grand Secretary Tommy Guest his statement of availibility for the Grand South. He is truly a great progressive forward thinker that in his time as an officer has changed Fort Worth 148's 150+ year history to its traditional roots of open minded thinking that has allowed us to become a true group of friends and brothers. With his mentor programs he has designed we have maintained a well above average retention rate among EAs. His year in the east we accomplished a Vangaurd Recognition which was a first at Fort Worth in a really long time and raised over 20 Master Masons and performed over 100 degrees.

Okay let me corerect some facts in that.
Tom Shelton handed his statement to Betty.
Tom was the first to get Van Gaurd in a really long time. I am pretty sure Bob got one but would have to check.
We raised 20 MM @ Fort Worth 148 and @ Tarrant we raised quite a few over there as well so I bet that number would have been more like 27 or 30. I know we did over 100 degrees last year under his watch.
Just FYI
I heard as well that the visit to GL to turn in the statement and get the itemized budget was quite interesting in the way of the Grand Secretary's warm welcome toward us 148 goons.
