Did you know, Noriyuki "Pat" Morita was a patient at Shriners Hospitals for Children? He developed Spinal TB at the age of two and spent nine years in a hospital. At the age of nine, Morita would undergo surgery and begin learning how to walk again.
It is reported that he later became a Mason and a Shriner. Upon his death, his family left an endowment to the hospital.
