    The Knighthood of Freemasonry

THE KNIGHTHOOD OF FREEMASONRY By J. H. Morrow, 32° THE persistence of the idea of knighthood in so many of the degrees of the Scottish Rite appeals to thought. It weaves in and out of the fabric like a beautiful thread from a weaver's shuttle, disappearing only to reappear the next moment...

    We Can't Afford to Wait

I guess I'm surprised at the widespread belief that the United States is the only nation incapable of doing what every other industrialized nation (and many developing) has done without total collapse.

Re: Judicial Watch Announces List of Washington's "Ten Most Wanted Corrupt Politician Yeah - Jefferson was the guy with the money in the freezer. I felt like making a citizens arrest on that one.

    PHA Scottish Rite Ritual

Where do the Prince Hall Affiliation rituals come from? This question has often been asked of me by Masons who are aware of my interests in tracing ritual origins and development. Some speculate that Prince Hall Masonry wrote its own rituals, others suggest that ritual exposés are a source...

    The Golden Mystery

Now about the book! You know—the Dan Brown book entitled The Lost Symbol. There is great interest in this book, first of all, because it follows Brown’s book The Da Vinci Code. Also of interest to us is that it contains much about Scottish Rite Masonry and the House of the Temple. This is...

BTW - if anyone has questions about the African based religions in that area or in Latin America, I'm pretty well versed.

    Hearts in Atlantis

I would have seen the movie before if I had seen that trailer. I think the trailer I saw before it came out made it seem like a very heavy drama and that's all. I think I picked up the paperback cheap last year and still haven't read it. It's a-shame that Stephen King has to brand as "from...

    An honest question...

I think we all know sh** happens and part of the brotherhood is to understand that. I was impressed coming in that NOT letting freemasonry interfere with your job or family was an ancient demand on the craft. All you did was follow that demand if you were handling new challenges in your life.

    Appendant Degrees, What's the Rush?

If we were to require a one year wait for appendant bodies, for the sake of blue lodge degrees - it would make more sense to start with one year waits between blue degrees. That way you can focus on the lessons of each degree.

    Apple iPad announced

My urge is to get that instead of a kindle or nook - but that glare is the primary concern I have. I'll probably have to see one in an Apple store. The other readers have specific technology to soften the screen for long term reading.

They're a lot cheaper than I expected. For twice the price of a kindle or nook, I get a fully functional computer on top of that.

    The rapture debunked

Dispensationalism is a Protestant evangelical tradition and theology[1] based on a biblical hermeneutic that sees a series of chronologically successive "dispensations" or periods in history in which God relates to human beings in different ways under different Biblical covenants. As a system...

    The rapture debunked

So is the Left Behind debate yet another example of the all-too-familiar standoff between secular types and traditional believers? Actually, for the last year, one of the people doing the most to debunk the worldview of LaHaye and others who believe in the Rapture (when Christians will be pulled...

No longer Ask one to Be one

I've always thought being active in the community was the best form of evangelism. I've had the same thoughts regarding masonry. People "see" masonry and masons and become curious about it. You shouldn't have to knock on their door.
