Pyramid at the entrance of Las Vegas outlet

heh, I went to google to see if I could find a better image to look at and all I get are images of it with "Illuminati" crap all over the place.

    Mormonism and Freemasonry

I'm guessing it was the Morgan Affair that happened in 1826 that spurred the anti-masonic feelings with Smith?

    Late Dues Payment

How does your Suspensions there work? I believe we actually have to vote on the brother in order to suspend him based on NJ's constitution.

    Personal attendance

remember your cabletow. Your brethren should understand. Does your Lodge have any official functions such as square and compass clubs or craftsmans clubs? We have members who come out to our open dinners but miss the started meetings. I always look forward to seeing them when I can. Was this an...

Wife having a problem with Freemasonry, she wants

Re: Wife having a problem with Freemasonry, she wa I would speak to her and let her read: http://www.masonic-lodge-of-education.com/masonic-wife.html and if possible get the book for her to read. Lastly, the lodge members have wives she can speak to as well. She should be willing to...

Thinking I picked the WRONG Lodge!? :(

I was referencing how it is dark at night before a stated meeting versus the spring and summer when it is still light out. Socialization is much easier in the warmer/lighter months. Lots more people come out when they can hang out before (because it is light) and after a meeting (because it is...

Thinking I picked the WRONG Lodge!? :(

    1) I have found that Lodge is like any other organization. You will find those that are harder to talk to than others. It is why you shop around before handing in your petition. - Get your degrees under your belt and travel. The easy option is to travel and visit. The extreme option is to...

Thinking I picked the WRONG Lodge!? :(

Not to come off the wrong way but what lodge are you a part of? Is it a regular lodge under the official GL of your state recognized by the UGLE?

    Masonic Rings

    1) Set your budget. 2) As brother josh has mentioned, peruse those avenues with price in mind. 3) Make sure the ring you are considering will hold up to your daily demands. -- Don't expect to wear an extravagant ring every day unless you're in an office setting. 4) Dont be embarrassed to get...

Ah man, that is unfortunate. I hope your insurance company responses swiftly and repairs can commence. Is there any chance you can get dispensation to use a fire hall or first aid hall for your meetings?

    Membership looking up!

my FC and MM were emergent but that was to accomidate the caledar coupled with going dark in the summer. Our WM wanted us to be raised before the summer break so we could test out on the first stated meeting in Sept. The only way to accomplish this was to hold to the minimum time between degrees...

    2014 Certifications

This brother from a lodge in my state has 7 pins. The most I believe you can get in New Jersey. They do have one that consolidates your achievements into one pin but some prefer to wear all 7. (his right lapel) I believe it is styled after the number of rungs on Jacob's Ladder.

    Membership looking up!

We would be doing degree work every meeting to get everyone we have in the wings initiated, passed and raised in one year. We can support all three degrees in our lodge but we do not have the capacity to mass produce masons. We would rather break up people into smaller groups so they enjoy the...

We have lecture pins for each portion of the degree. I would like to learn either the EA lecture or IC lecture. The letter G is third on my list.

    Membership looking up!

We have roughly 12 people who need to be balloted on and we just took in another two petitions. We are going to have three EA degrees the first half of the year and unfortunately have to ship some out for their FC degree as we want to move these guys along.

Which one was the most diffcult?

Co-worker: How do you load the program? ---In the way and manner illustrated in the instruction book! I found my FC was the hardest to return. I knew it backwards and forwards but I was the most nervous during the FC exam on the account that we were to be raised the same night.

Did you wear any EA or FC "bling"?

One cannot be legally punished for wearing a ring depicting the Master Mason degree if they are only an EA or FC unless they are under a jurisdiction that has such legislation in their constitution. Some esoteric knowledge to consider... An EA has not yet learned to circumscribe his passions...

Did you wear any EA or FC "bling"?

Australia and lots of other jurisdictions outside of the states have longer waiting periods between degrees. They also give their EA and FC certificates so they can prove themselves a Mason via Lawful Masonic Information and get proof from others they encounter if they wear the emblem of The...

Why do u wear ur masonic ring ?

I wear a ring that has the plum, trowel, Square and Compass on it however it is a comfort ring and the symbols are faint. I can spin the ring around and it looks like a plain ring at first site. I wear mine to remind myself of my obligations. I also wear it as a reminder of the steps I took to...
