The Craft Unmasked - The Uncommon Origin of Freemasonry and its Practice

Brothers et al, I'm proud to announce that my 11th book is now being printed and shipped this week. It's called The Craft Unmasked! The Uncommon Origin of Freemasonry and its Practice. As the title says, it covers what the Craft is, where it originated and a whole bunch of other things that...

    Free Will

Yes. I believe that I do and thanks for asking. Spirit encompasses anything that is transcendent of and to time and space. Spirit is recognized as patterns within time and space but it is not bound to or by them. Things like Truth, Eternity, God, Evil and Good are all transcendent and...

    Free Will

I do not think that there are three substances. I believe there are three aspects of man: Body, Soul (mind-emotion), Spirit I understand this can be found within the Holy Scriptures. REF: 1 Thessalonians 5:23 [New King James Version (NKJV)] -- Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you...

    Free Will

The Body is time and space bound. It is physical and mortal. The Spirit is neither time nor space bound. It is non-physical and eternal. The Soul it the interface between the physical and the spiritual. It is created through their synergy. It is also their historical component and hence...

    Need advise, in changing Lodges.

I go where I can Best Work and Receive Master's Wages. Those were the reasons for me becoming a Traveling Man. I visit Lodges all over the place and Work at Lodges of which I am not a formal member. I've moved only once and was moving toward something, not away. I recommend moving to anyone...

    Women In Masonry - Spin-Off

Grammar teaches us the Lexicon and how to use it. Logic teaches us how to Construct Arguments from that Lexicon and how to make those Arguments Strong. Rhetoric teaches us how Lexicon Dramatically Changes its Meaning beyond the Accepted Concrete depending upon 1) how it is Employed and 2) the...

    Women In Masonry - Spin-Off

Masonry has re-enforced for me the understanding that words have general meanings and specific meanings and the context they are used within can and do change their meaning dramatically and sometimes in ways that require a rethinking of many well-entrenched beliefs. It's also taught me how...

    Mason at sight ?

Landmarks appear to be more important to USA jurisdictions and few other, of which are not all the same. There are many jurisdictions that have none. As far as becoming a "Mason" in one day or in 5 years in the USA, it merely means that you have become an accepted member of a society. There...

Yes, Freemasonry is religion, and it’s incompatible with some Christian beliefs. Here’s why.

I speak from my own experience. When that changes, so shall what I report. I don't recall typing "anything but" in my quoted post. Regardless, who I consider Christian is far different from the majority. Anyone can take on a label. To live it takes far more. Your mileage appears to vary...

    Mason at sight ?

From all that have I read on this, it still requires the degrees to be performed, with obligations and the consent of the Brothers attending.

    Does your lodge really suck!?

I find the only time I would say that it sucks is when I volunteer to do something or participate in something that I know does not interest me or does drain me beyond my capacities to recharge. But in saying that, it would be me trying to blame my Lodge for something that I knew I should not...

Yes, Freemasonry is religion, and it’s incompatible with some Christian beliefs. Here’s why.

I have never had any bad experiences with Christians. I've only had bad experiences with those who have claimed to be Christians but were everything but. The same goes for my experiences with Masons, and those who have claimed to be such. Your mileage might differ.

    Mason at sight ?

It is the GM's purgative in some jurisdictions to make a Mason on Site. To be legitimate, the Brothers present must agree and vote upon the acceptance of the man and the ceremonies must be performed in total, which means a lodge must be open in each Degree. It is only the GM that can sanction...

If this was a response to my post, you took it far too seriously. That being said, let the fun & games begin! 1) Adam and Eve were not tossed because they ate the knowledge fruit. They were tossed for two specific reasons. a) They were blaming someone else for their freewill choices and...
