I mentioned in another post that I was moving. The old farm house had seen its last day. So 9 months ago we moved to an apartment in the city and I started gutting the small house across the road from the farm. It had been sitting empty for two years and need some love. I framed in some rooms and ran some electrical. Then I sanded he wood floors and threw in some nice stain. I put in some cabinets and stainless steal appliances. And the the nightmare began.. plumbing, gas lines, water softener, hvac, new well and a water heater. Today I actually fired it all up. All the stuff worked!! Nothing flooded, caugh fire or exploded!!

Tomorrow we move in, Saturday we feast for breakfast at the lodge and Sunday my oldest son graduates high school. I'll be excited later... right now... I'm exhausted...

Even God needed to rest on the seventh lol. I love projects that occupy a lot of time though. Glad to hear nothing backfired on you. Congrats on your new abode and to your graduating son.

Thanks fellas, It is a bit crazy!! The direct tv guy wanted to show up at 8am, 4 hours early, and he needed all the tv's but we hadn't started moving yet. So picked up he father in law and all the tv's and dropped them off then headed to get the uhaul. I was 30 minutes from the new house in the uhaul and the father in law called to say when he fired up the furnace half the electric went out. As a result the tv guy said he couldn't hook up without power. So I had to drop the truck off and run to lowes for 100 foot of wires so I could rewire the furnace from the old glass fuse panel to the new breaker box. The when that was done my boss called to say a machine went down so I went across town to fix thay and then headed to the my sonds school.to pick him up after rehearsal so we could help my wonder wife, mother and mother in law finish loading the uhaul. We just spent 2 hours digging through boxes finding clothes and shoes for my the lodge breakfast, my sons party and yhe actual graduation.

Its been a heck of a day!!
