I am also looking for a home lodge and Onion Creek is about 10 minutes from me. I am an EA who has been inactive for a while. I was initiated at Anchor 424 in San Antonio, and that is a pretty good hike from Buda...

I am currently studying in OC #220. Instruction is Mondays and Thursdays and there is someone always available. I am currently an EA there and the brothers there are very helpful with tips in studies. They take the time according to your schedule and are always there when you are ready. At first I tried rushing, thinking I had to cram everything in, but the brothers there are always ready when you are to take it at your pace.

I visited the lodge Thursday evening for their EA degrees and have found they are very welcoming and friendly.

There are two more EA initiations and a proficiency next Thursday evening as well.
